PD Essentials kits are a digital version of our PD in a Box® product. We create; you facilitate. It is plug-and-play PD. You will be equipped with a 90-minute prepared presentation, all accompanying handouts, and much more. The train-the-trainer sessions will empower you to be ready to present the presentation to your teachers.

We are offering 2 topics for this first launch: Poetry (K-5th) and Engagement (4th-8th).

The title of this kit is I'M ENGAGED! Creating Interactive and Student-Centered Classrooms, 4th-8th. Your teachers will...

• Apply effective strategies to cultivate active participation and sustained interest among students in grades 4-8.   
• Create student-centered lessons that foster ownership of learning, independent exploration, and confidence in questioning, analyzing, and innovating.   

Your digital kit will be shared via a folder link to your email. The presentation itself will be in the folder both as a Canva link and PowerPoint slide deck. We advise facilitators to save their own copies of the slides to their computers. You will have indefinite access to the presentation and materials.

You want to be seen as an instructional leader, but you don't have the time to create the presentation. Or maybe you are wanting to build the capacity of others on your team or of teacher-leaders but want to free them of the load of creating it so they can focus on executing it. Ultimately, PD Essentials was made to uncomplicate professional learning experiences for facilitators so they can provide a quality learning experience for the teachers they serve. It's a bonus that it saves you time!

We create, but you facilitate. We want to help you be as successful as possible for your training; therefore, we are hosting 2.5-hour live sessions to meet with the developers and Uncomplicate Ed experts to be sure you're set up for success. Once trained, your school-based facilitator will be empowered to conduct their own ninety-minute session!  

NOTE: Only one Zoom registration is allowed per school, per topic.

What if we're co-facilitating or someone else wants to sit in? That's a-okay. Please only register one person per school, but feel free to share your computer screen during the session. Do know that the Train-the-Trainer sessions are designed to be highly interactive. If you are unable to share a screen and still wish to have more than one person attend the session, please reach out to Jenn so we can accommodate you where possible. Jenn@UncomplicateEd.com 

The school trainer/facilitator can be the school principal or other administrator, an instructional coach, a teacher leader, or a member of your school for whom you would like to provide more experience and opportunities. 

The live sessions will be on December 10, 2024. There are two time slots available for each topic:

• 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EST   
• 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST   

You will receive the link to register once we have received your payment or a signed purchase order.

What if I can't attend the live sessions? No problem! A video recap of the sessions, along with all necessary materials, will be sent to you to ensure successful facilitation.

Each session can accommodate up to 15 total participants to ensure that everyone receives ample attention.  We recommend booking this experience sooner rather than later to ensure a spot for your facilitator.  

Yes and no. Some slides will be editable, and some will not. An example of a suggested editable slide may be to include your state's standard when mentioned. However, some slides will be locked for proprietary and continuity reasons. In your Train-the-Trainer session, this will be communicated more clearly. In addition, your field guide and presenter notes will indicate which slides can be edited and which cannot.

For this introductory offer, each kit is $449. However, you can bundle and save! If you purchase both kits, you save nearly $70 with an all-in cost of $829.  This price is all-inclusive and non-refundable. 

We accept all major credit cards, Cash App, Google Pay, and Afterpay, and of course, purchase orders. When you're ready to purchase, simply CLICK THIS LINK to be taken to the pay screen. 

• If you choose to pay now (credit card, Cash App, etc.), you will be directed to a pay link to pay immediately. Just choose the green button labeled "I'm paying now with credit card" on the pay link.
• If you choose to pay later (with a PO), you will be emailed the quotes you need as well as the W-9 to generate your PO. Just choose the yellow button labeled "I'm paying later via PO" on the pay link. 

If you are paying with a credit card:

• After you submit payment, you will be taken to the Zoom registration screen.
• Simply choose your train-the-trainer session.
• Attend your session, receive your materials, and rock out your training!

If you are paying via purchase order:

• Once you send your signed PO to us (Megan@UncomplicateEd.com), Megan will send you an email to confirm your spot. *Remember that spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come basis based on signed POs.
• With your confirmation email, you will also receive the link to register for your Zoom Train-the-Trainer session.
• Simply choose your train-the-trainer session.
• Attend your session, receive your materials, and rock out your training!
